Disturbing the Peace

Guy Pearce tries god damn it. He must feel like a big fish in a small pond. With this and The Fanatic last year Devon Sawa is on my radar has doing okay in bad movies, as well. But besides that, bad dialogue runs rampant, there's a disconnect between most characters along with never building anything. The fight scenes are laughable. People stand around awkwardly holding guns. Some of the music doesn't make sense and even when it does it's so generic that it'd almost be better if it wasn't there.

I made it 33 minutes into this thing before I remembered I had a half-empty bag of donuts in the kitchen that really needed finishing.

Could have been a better action movie, but just didn't have the script or the direction.

There's more tension in a Teletubbies episode. Sawa and Pearce trying very hard to work with the script they were given, but there is no miracle. The women characters are insultingly bad.
