Frustrating to watch and also to review. There are moments here that are absolutely inspired brilliance. The use of music and intercut documentary footage is great, but it's the editing of these pieces that really stands out. Like the cinematography, it's not fancy but it's deliberate and effectively highlights social and political contrasts. The acting leaves a lot to be desired. Mokae is at least charismatic, but all the performances are stilted. It takes effort to ignore, but it's rewarding.
