Die vier Gesellen

Weird to think that Ingrid Bergman was this close to becoming a Nazi star instead of a Hollywood star. A typical light affair of the European variety. There is at least some deeper emotional entanglements for this not to become simply a bubbly popcorn movie. Not that it's an essential Bergman. She does look absolutely stunning through. The Germans shot her prettier then they did back in her native Sweden. Not the most captivating romance movie, but well produced film with it's little pleasures.
