A commissioned film for SWB - Schweizerischer Werkbund - Die neue Wohnung was produced for the Basel architectural and interior design exhibition (WOBA) to demonstrate innovative aspects of modern architecture and highlight their differences from the event's highly conservative approach. A film about architectural and interior design from Hans Richter. Thankfully Richter gets to add his little touches adding other human elements to this documentary about furniture how/where to place it, so not to make it a complete snooze. But it's still a film about design, so no matter how fancy the shots are.... just bring a pillow. Maybe you'll learn where to place it. Can't help but think that'll be an instinctual thing when watching this.
