Fun with a silent football movie! Though the sport more or less plays as a backdrop for a typical troubled romance. That doesn't mean there isn't a good share of sportsmanship and fast paced games involved. What's clear is that the transfer market was just as dirty in 1927 as it is today, something Gustav Fröhlich experiences. While the movie plays out like a fairly standard fare they used th moving camera quite a lot which brought life to the movie.
