Surprisingly sexual. We follow Hildegard Knef and her inner throughs as she experience life and lovers. Surprisingly sexual. Celebrates it, actually. Definitely a new era of German cinema. Willi Forst was no stranger in tackling morally intriguing behavior, but this one was almost uplifting, even with it's gradual torment and illness. Intriguing film.
