Die Sklavenkönigin

One of Michael Curtiz's big European films. Perhaps the biggest one he had to handle during that period of his directorial career. And Moon of Israel does have the feel of a grand movie, combining the love among the Pharaohs and the religious fable of Moses with a nicely done dividing of the sea scene. Sadly the story struggles to engage between the big moments and falls below expectations.
