Die Macht der Gefühle

As a clinical dissection of European culture with a particular focus on the nineteenth-century invention of opera as a "powerplant" of emotions, along with a series of rather ironic vignettes, this could be seen as part of a kind of anti-Syberbergian fight over the sacrificial bones of German culture, something of personal interest to me given that 20 years later I'd be interviewed by Kluge for an episode of the TV program PRIME TIME SPÄTAUSGABE, discussing my film, in which Syberberg appears.
