A really poor version of Dick Turpin (1934). I quite liked the earlier adaptation of Dick Turpin (1925), which is also not considered a must-see classic, but compared to this hack job the silent one is a masterpiece. Only thing remotely interesting was the chase on horseback to York which was a overly long montage with bloopers and all. In other words: No need to brush the dust off this British adventure even if it stars England's returned son Victor McLaglen.
