Diana

This movie really is not...very...ambitious.... Maybe it really was too soon to make this movie. Maybe there's nothing interesting to say yet. I don't know. It just didn't feel right. I don't quite buy that this period was the most interesting time in her life. Something about her entry into the royal family and her slow disillusionment may have been better. This movie could have been-- HOLY SHIT THIS WAS THE GUY WHO MADE DOWNFALL?

It's clear right from the start, when Diana leaves the hotel room in Paris with Dodi and looks behind -- presuming this is the last time she's running away from her own life --, that this biopic is just, well, a huge cinematic mistake, the type of dramatization that only serves the purpose of making crowds cry at a dishonest and embarrassing paparazzi exploitation. This is just lousy.

This one panned by critics. I really enjoyed this story and thought Naomi Watts was outstanding as Princess Diana.

There will be a market for this somewhere which is presumably why it got made.

Lifetime channel quality, picking possibly the least interesting part of a semi-interesting (maybe) life to make into a highly uninteresting film. Awkward face touching too, like the film can't even bear to imagine a white woman kissing Naveen Andrews. The script feels written by a computer.

Imagine a movie about Diana where none of the questions you actually want answered are even brought up. It's like a weird Diana Fan Fiction,full of made up dramatisation.

pathetic... I forced myself to watch it till the end
