Diamond Head

Overheated drama of racism and hypocrisy (and not a little repressed incest) is a standard 60s era melodrama, with overplayed confrontations and 'shocking' scenes which play more for laughs; Heston delivers one of his 'cast-in-granite' performances, but while Mimieux is given little to work with outside of being a simplistic mouthpiece, she does bring some fragility and believablility to her role as Hestons' sister.
