The Falcon franchise coming to an end with rather unknown actor John Calvert having the honor of starring in the last three pictures in the series. Felt a little odd, especially considering he was following the smooth brothers George Sanders & Tom Conway in the role, and he was nothing like them. Devil's Cargo (1948) does provide a decent mystery, on par with most of those from the Conway era. It's not like any of these films were great ones, but they pass the time alright and so did this.
