This is a really touching film. A film about a hidden love and about a really strong bond and friendship between two older ladies. I respected the two main characters and felt for them, in their respectively new situations. It's sad and thought provoking. A good watch. I'd recommend this film, yes.

Love Story. İki lezbiyen aşık Nina ve Madeleine arasındaki ilişkiyi izliyoruz. Madeleine felç geçirince, sevdiğinden ayrı kalmamak için elinden geleni yapacaktır. Harika sinematografi, oyuncuların gücü, adım adım ilerleyen kurgusuyla başyapıt. Fakat öykü gereksiz uzatılmış. Etkileyici 1 LGBTQ filmi. Filmin sonunda, Hastalıkta ve sağlıkta. Ölüm bizi ayırana kadar. Romantizmi seviyorum ama bu biraz fazla.

Unusual, uniquely presented love story is beautifully played by Chevallier and Sukowa, and handled as a bizarre thriller by Meneghetti, creating an intriguing, simmering tension within material that could well have played out as a simplistic "movie of the week". A discombobulating experience, but one to return to and savour - attempt at commentary on elder abuse is weakly developed and doesn't really go anywhere, especially since Chevallier's children are never developed as credible characters.

More a psychological horror than a romance, which is, I think, ultimately its downfall. More sinister than touching, more painful than beautiful, its small glimpses of sensitive love (the intro, the escape, the final dance) were not enough to carry the slow agony of the rest. And was the fatal game of tag just a weird metaphor?
