One of Leif Juster's lesser know comedies. The folksy Norwegian comic was one of the most beloved performers in Norway for decades. That doesn't mean everything he did was amazing. Det æ'kke te å tru (1942) is a very messy and half-arsed comedy. Doesn't stop it from having many funny moments. You simply can't have Juster and Ernst Diesen, and their natural gifts, not make even the most stupid thing funny. Too bad the production was rather lose and narrative all over the place.
