Destroyer

Weak script with a questionable plot, driven by a competent cast.

Not exactly quintessential Edward G. Robinson, but it's not bad. Nothing wrong with Robinson performance, to make that clear. The guy is a constant professional. Destroyer (1943) is just a desperate in the way to get Robinson involved in the war effort. Could definitely have needed some tweaks with the script. Still perfectly watchable if not being too critical.

Watchable, affable, all in it together rousing war film.
