Most of this is quite good (certainly above the standard of the usual cryonics pic), and the parallel scenes are taut and well-done. Unfortunately though the plot just sort of fizzles out at the end. As soon as the wife gets shot, you figure she's earmarked for the latest experiment in the deep freeze; but nope, instead the guy just basically sleeps through the whole mess and wakes up on the other end completely cleared.
