Ah yes, a Vince Vaughn dramedy will go down smoothly tonight. They totally leave out his disabled son for the last quarter and it's so dark. Movie needed Vaughn doing the jobs of all his kids, could've had a montage of him being flustered painting, teaching, rapping, astronauting etc.

A decent film that I liked, though more for the montages and little moments than any sort of comedy or drama.

I just ranked "The Other Woman" (2014) and goddamn it if Vaughn's Wally Mooseish, "Hyuck hyuck! Sorry folks!" expression isn't exactly the same as Cameron Diaz's from that turd's poster. It's kind of fitting. Two actors who had a fair amount of charm and comic chops who now look exhausted and reek of "did the check clear?" Jesus H. has Vaughn's affable wise guy schtick completely deserted him or what? This can't be the "You're all growns up!" guy from "Swingers." That guy is long, long gone.

Delivery Man initially looked dumb and completely unappealing, but it's surprisingly watchable. And I'm also guilty of enjoying it to a degree. Usually I'm not a fan of Vince Vaughn in a standalone role without a sidekick. But he carries this film surprisingly well and he isn't as annoying or over the top as usual. I don't recall too many laughs, Chris Pratt definitely gets the best lines. It's still dumb and cheaply pulls on the heart strings, but it's nowhere near as bad as it could of been.

Sweet enough not to be sappy, and decent enough overall to not waste your time. Vince Vaughn is always at his best when he tones down the energy a tad.

The only laugh the movie elicited from me was the brief scene where Vince Vaughn is nearly drowned by the mob in his bathtub.

There is probably more to Vince Vaughn than his obnoxious overgrown frat boy persona immediately suggests, but this film is too lightweight to transition him into the next phase of the mature career he seems to desperately want. The material he is working with here is substandard, well beneath even his limited talent, and the rest of the cast just goes through the motions.

Vince Vaughn delivers in a surprisingly sweet role in this comedy. I thought that the concept of this film was pretty good. A guy donates to a fertility clinic and ends up siring 533 children. He then goes around helping these kids out being sort of a guardian angel to them. Vaughn like I said, was quite good. I also like Cobie Smulders...

While nothing much stands out as being particularly good, I did enjoy watching this movie. A few hilarious moments. It was entertaining and interesting throughout. There is a constant mix of drama and comedy. Vaughn plays a mostly lovable ordinary Joe and the situations offers many opportunities for comedy as well as a few genuinely heartwarming moments.

Near the end there is a group hug followed by a group sing-a-long. This is a feel good, don't over think it movie, if you can do that you will enjoy a few moments of happiness.

The movie has a theme very similar to an Indian movie named Vicky Donor (which came out 3 years before this) but just a different treatment to it. Nice combination of humour and human emotions through the movie. Decent watch.

Vince Vaughn is on his finest form in a fair while here, and Chris Pratt works magic as the (low-key) comic foil. But the real pleasant surprise here is the way the screenplay smoothly blends the heartfelt drama with the workmanlike comedy, making for a surprisingly sweet and entertaining final product.

A comedy where Vince Vaughn through a mis-hap at the sperm clinic is the biological father of 533 kids sounds dreadful....but this one isnt! I found this more of a heartfelt drama than a comedy as the laughs are minimal! You do care about Vaughn building relationships (secretly) with the kids so this makes the film very watchable!

Vince Vaughn is slightly adorable, playing his usual dude with more subtlety than ever before, while the audience is treated to a kid with ALS and teased with miscarriages. I went in looking for cheap laughs, and I came out with my heart rate slightly higher than before and with a small place in the same organ for dramatic effort in comedies.

And yet we are there. We're there to talk to. To play with. To brush away tears, to bandage knees, to teach a hard lesson or to share a laugh. It's a cliché to say that 90% of a job is just showing up, but I don't know any job where that's more true than being a father. There's more to it, of course--a lot more. But to be there ... that's Step One. And it's that step that some fathers never take at all. (pluggedin.com)

Agonizingly inane...but it's just so warm and fuzzy, though, ain't it? The kind of "well-intentioned" sitcommy fare that assumes we're gonna suspend disbelief at all its glaring, gaping, monstrously lazy plot inconsistencies and lapses in logic, just because of how goody-goody it is. In truth, though, there are sci-fi flicks that are more believable than this thing. Egads. Plus Vaughn looks like he's lost at sea.
