This is closer to a regular police procedural than either Giallo or Poliziotteschi genres as it's lacking the style/gore of the former and over the top action of the latter. Still worth a watch, especially for the acting; It's always fun to see Frank Wolff but the real standout is Raf Vallone's tragic father. Gianni Ferrio's swinging score helps keeping things interesting.
