What stands out here is the very long scene in the middle between principal, psychologist (I think), parent and child, as well as the final, rather hilarious speech given by A. G. Gaston, a grandson of slaves who made his fortune in life insurance, bailed Martin Luther King out of jail, fell out with him for protesting too much, was later kidnapped, and ends up, like so many before the fall of the USSR (and after), obsessed with the notion that the USA is a better society than Russia. Curtain.
