Dead Men Don't Make Shadows

The film is well shot and I adore the rural Mexican atmosphere that it embraces. It's a strange flick where it'll spend a lot of time just doing establishing shots and setting up the mood but it doesn't really go anywhere substantial. The narrative is hindered by stiff acting and a lot of plodding scenes that's too rote and generic to be particularly interesting. I somewhat appreciate this for its filmy aspects but I have a hard time actually calling this good.
