Considering just how bad so many low-budget zombie movies turn out to be, this Irish film about the undead fortunately has just enough charm, gore and creativity to be watchable enough for what it is. Unfortunately, relatively speaking, the movie doesn't really excel at anything in particular, instead while there are some fun flashes, the movie feels like it's stuck in 2nd gear throughout. In the end, this is probably one that's only for the hardcore low-budget genre fans.

There's a lot that's charming about this Irish attempt to make a zombie film, but certainly the fact that it doesn't know whether it wants to be serious or goofy, and the fact it doesn't follow its own rules, makes it ridiculously inconsistent. However, based on its charm, I didn't dislike it. I must, sadly, score it low because its faults are many.

Some people run from zombies. Decent gore. Couple tense scenes, couple of jokes, a tiny bit of you haven't seen precisely that before in a zombie movie. Not exactly special but not incompetent.

A good effort, nice and gory, and Coach Cathal, played by Eoin Whelan is hilarious.
