I'm not going to crap on De dødes tjern (2019) completely, for it's nicely shot and does get some of the atmosphere right. The characters and where the story went was hollow. Ends up copying a bunch of cliches from modern horrors along the way, which only helped cheapen the feel. Not the worst offender, but it's still a disgrace to the original De dødes tjern (1958).
