South Africa's first feature film is all about the good white folks of the country beating those native black people for their land. It doesn't sugarcoat what a large part of the country felt 100 years ago, so there is a lot of learning in that. It's not nice, but it's fact, and here they celebrate that with epic war film. Racial issues aside, this was a thrilling battle. While techniques was a little on the primitive side compared to what we're used to today, there was a lot of life on screen.
