Comic filler from the UK. The first movie starring Terry-Thomas after he broke through as a star just after the war. And he gets some decent time in this variety show type movie. However, the true highlight of Date with a Dream (1948) was the Latin vibes song "Unlucky" from The Vic Lewis Orchestra and Jeannie Carson.
