Tries to emulate something great, but in the end it's an uneven experience with a mediocre solution.

Endearing throwback to 70s era conspiracy thrillers is nicely understated and insidious, though as we lack a certain amount of information surrounding the conspiracy itself, the inconclusive finale, designed to be cutting and haunting, is a little bit of a damp fizzle. Still a largely engaging and quite tense more-or-less one-hander, with Tabach proving himself more than up for the anchoring challenge, and while more could have been done to develop the conspiracy angle, it is still effective.
