The Slurb, a speckled little unidentified red-headed being, is as sassy and mischievous as its adopted "papa" is bashful and reticent. After several failed attempts to rid himself of the Slurb, Bruno eventually becomes very fond of his new little friend. To top it all off, he discovers that the freckle-like blue dots on the Slurb's cheeks can make wishes come true - any wish at all.
