Dark Summer

It's not as bad as I was led to believe but as many have said it is super generic and seems much longer than it really is. The slow pace and the underplayed acting really hurt this film and made it hard to stay interested.

When the female lead is cast because she kinda looks like Jennifer Love Hewitt, you know you're dealing with quality movie-making. But at least it's better than "Disturbia".

Generic horror, with an even more generic title. There is a certain atmosphere about it, but it's never a scary one. A low key suspense builder with Peter Stormare turning up once in a while to check what the substance addicted kids are doing in house arrest. What he never finds out is that a dead person is creeping them out....
