Dark Ride

Dark Ride. Oh, Dark Ride. Where do I begin? This is not a negative review, but an honest one. Sure the concept of a slasher flick is a timeless one, albeit a played out timeless one. Dark Ride sets this concept in a boardwalk-ish horror ride that a bunch of generic horror movie kids sneak into. Things happen to them and bodies start to pile up and it eventually ends. The thing that stands out for this one is its that its filmed well, decently acted, and scene where the "hippie girl" is axed.

God this is bad. I had my doubts going in, but I was hoping to be surprised. I guess I was...by how terrible almost every minute of this thing was. The villain is a cheap dollar store Michael Myers, the final twist is the most telegraphed shit I've ever seen, & my sincere apologies to the cast but the acting is bad. Really bad. Andrea Bogart's performance is kinda so-bad-it's-hilarious, though, so there is that. Generic, nonsensically written, not a single likeable character in the whole thing.

It takes like an hour to start and when it does you lose interest in the film. I like teen slashers but this one is just crap.

There is nothing new here...at all. My attention couldn't even be held for the 80-90 minutes this movie drones on for.

Swoisty zbior klisz filmowego horroru, koszmarne aktorstwo, a ponadto nie straszy. Tylko jako ciekawostka, dla fanow gore (kilka scen), plusem jest tez miejsce akcji.

Full of horror cliches, empty talkings and stretched scenes. What was the point of the movie?
