Danger by my Side

Film makes up for the budget by being pacey and brief. Typical of its genre but best of the bunch. The French girl singing and doing the "striptease" just gave me the giggles - as did the coy way they did its finale.

Routine low-budget crime thriller. Just over an hour long, so it doesn't have the opportunity to do much other than introduce the main characters, whip through the plot at a hundred miles an hour, then end with an abrupt jolt. Maureen Connell is decent in the lead role, the scenes in the strip club are vaguely amusing, but there's nothing much here that's notable or memorable.
