I have a feeling they didn't really have a 'Mountie script' ready for this Sgt. Renfrew production and just took a unfinished 'cops & robbers' story and inserted the uniformed men into it for Danger Ahead (1940). That and a lot of car chases to fill out the other half of the movie. For this included a lot of randomly edited country driving. Poorly so.... witch sums this up perfectly. Everything was "Poorly so...."
