The future Mr. Mary Pickford didn't have much of a movie career left in America, so he gets a chance over the pond when British producers were hiring Hollywood actors left and right for their quota quickies. Dance Band is a nonsensical entertainer where the musical numbers is where all the effort went into. And that's when Charles 'Buddy' Rogers shines the most with the fading June Clyde.
