Daddy Long Legs

Fairly or unfairly the creepy plot looms heavily over the film, and while I appreciate that it addresses the issues throughout the film it ultimately doesn't resolve them but just tosses them aside for the ending. That issue aside, while it has a couple of bad musical sequences, most of the dance numbers are very entertaining and Caron's character is very charming. An uneven film, but if you want a musical this has some good qualities.

Another Great Performance by Leslie Caron, but not my kind of a movie with old Fred Astaire as "sugar daddy" he is too good for that kind of storytelling.

I am unfazed by the plot. The whole movie is a blast, but Leslie Caron's dream ballet is High Art.

Overlong musical remake of oft-filmed story. Some good dance numbers.
