Bounty hunter Dalton (Lito Lapid) and merchandizer-turned-sheriff Wild Bill Hika (Dolphy) are two of the most effective crime fighters in the West, and their existence in Bronco Town ensures its peace and order. Dolphy teams with Lito Lapid to do a spoof on the old western. The problem with classic comedies from the Philippines, it's a collective of ideas, as they want to do a little bit of everything. Be it music, slapstick, tragedy, sexy stuff. So it's impossible to catch the mood of the picture because it changes from scene to scene, many which are just there so to fill 2 hours of entertainment for their fans. But with Da Best in da West you do get a lot of wonderfully silly action and stupid gags.
