Barbara Read & Helen Vinson continues to work with each other after Married and in Love (1940). This time on the same team as they're trying to get a play on stage, having to battle the commercial driven producers. Kind of hilarious because of Alan Mowbray & Donald MacBride doing all they can to strip the script of art wanting to turn a drama into a farce. And how they take the advantage is also pure farce! The ladies are good, but Mowbray is the real diva!
