Curious George

OK for small kids and that's about it.

Awwww, it's adorable. Predictable and obvious. But still, the monkey is ADORABLE.

Curious George is cute, but the movie itself is incredibly bland and devoid of any entertainment.

I like animals. I like cartoons. But so many cartoon animals are a disgrace to the Platonic essence of both. This monkey really upsets me. lol Is he supposed to be endearing? God what an obnoxious face. Children deserve better. Why would you patronize them with this garbage? do you think they’re fools or are you trying to make them into little fools? There is contempt for the human spirit in anything so hideous & inane.

Pleasant enough for what it is, but far too low-key and sleepy to appeal to anyone outside its target demographic; the well-stacked cast of vocal performers are probably the most interesting thing here, with Ferrell successfully tamping down his normal manic energy, leaving the likes of Plowright and Van Dyke to gleefully ham things up a bit. As a sweet natured time-filler for kids, I'm sure it works well.

George himself is great, but the movie is bland. It does, however, deserve credit for being the adaptation upon which the terrific TV show is based.

Such a fun monkey movie, is very harmless and very cute, every interaction is so colorful, and also the colors ARE SO BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL! This is not anything that is going to blow you away but it isn't trying, it's just a cute monkey adventure that you should watch.

Is not as good as the animated TV series. I would know, having a toddler at home.

Curious George can do no wrong in my book. My four year old loves George, which means it's on heavy rotation in my household. And, i have no problem with the revisionist history in how George came to live with the Man with the Yellow Hat. And the soundtrack is pretty good, too.

This is obviously only for viewing with a small child. But for that occasion it works great.

A fun kids film, but not so fun that I wouldn't watch it without a kid present.

The animation is really beautiful and the music's decent, but I hate monkeys and some of the 'charming' mischief he gets into was cringe-worthy.

It was a cute movie. Not a groundbreaking film, but it was enjoyable.

I took my ex to see this and I was delighted, she however was not. I thought it was a very touching film and was just flat out funny in some parts. I guess it helped that I am gay for David Cross and it was just icing on the cake to have him in the film as well.

A great childrens movie, but thats it

The energy of that monkey exceeded the weekly dosis of mine in just one hour!

Colorful and well-animated, but too cute for adults, and I don't like movies that teach kids to lie.
