Crooked River

In 1950 someone had the idea of bringing together two of Hopalong Cassidy's sidekicks for a series of films. The thing is that they both play the same likable sidekick character, so they don't really stand-out from each other, and neither had that lead guy aura about him. Here they do have different roles, but still it was an issue that prevent lifting this idea to anything particularly memorable. Becomes a okay B-western, but not the hit with two of Hoopy's favorites one could have hoped for.
