A documentary of an average 24 hours in the life of Klaus Kinski.

Kinski: One. Hey hey, kids, I'm talking Kinski. Two. Hey hey, kids. Here comes Weiner Herzog, I mean, Werner Herzog. Four. {laughs] Kinski: Bada bing, bada boom. I'm done. Learn from the professionals, kid. [leaves] Technician: Uh... we're ready to roll, Kinski. Kinski?

Klaus Kinski plays an insane old Nazi who runs a boarding house and only rents rooms to beautiful young girls. The house is rigged up with secret tunnels and booby traps so he can spy on and murder his tenants. Some decent gore and good suspense in this horror flick, but most of the kills occur offscreen. Kinski is incredibly loony though, the scenes with him playing Russian Roulette are creepy and intense.

It gets a pass because I love secret passageways and hidden rooms, and also because I don't think Klaus Kinski was "acting" in this one.

For such a pompous dickhead, Kinski never really recognized that he was nothing without Herzog. This one was boring, but with a decent climax, but I can't really credit Kinski with either aspect, he was there just because it was a job and phone it in, he did.

You don't get Klaus Kinski to act in your movie. You just set him loose.

One of the films Kinski did for the cash, but I doubt he got much from this one. Mostly bland and boring, with an overly dramatic and mostly unnecessary score, and really poorly handled fan service scenes. On the other hand, the cinematography is pretty good, and of course Kinski is the best actor in the entire film. Never reaches its potential.
