During the twilight stages of his career, Guy Kibbee was relegated to doing westerns. Not with the usual suspects, but along side newcomer Ken Curtis in more novelty style B-westerns. The first one takes the old 'pretending to own a dude ranch when the daughter comes to town' plot. Mostly clowning around in between songs with the presence of lovely Jeff Donnell helping a lot making it a pleasing time-waster.
