Countess Perverse

The story is basic, with some idea of shock that never happens. I found it slow and hard to finish.

The beginning has shades of "Vampyros Lesbos", but unfortunately this later film lacks the style and groove of Franco's earlier films. He was concentrating on quantity over quality at this point. Cast is OK; especially Arno & Woods are interesting, and there are some nice shots of Canary Islands, but also far too many shots of Vernon smoking cigarettes. Franco doesn't really get anything out of the Most Dangerous Game'ish plot and surprisingly the final hunting scene lacks any kind of

One more collaboration between Jesus Franco and Lina Romay. Young Lina always pleases the eye and natural nudity looks nice. Shame that the story did not strike much. Restive carnal pleasures can make you crazy.

Not bad, but nothing out of the ordinary for Franco. Soft focus nudity galore.
