Ah yes, the PG13 killer app movie will surely be a great choice. Still not the worst app themed film I've endured. Tom Segura stumbles in from a zanier Justin Dec script that some poor producer didn't use as toilet paper. Second week of covid19 , still obsessed with toilet paper talk.

Edit out everything but Tom Segura and this is tier 10. Me, during the movie, shouting in my wife's face: "What the fuck is Tom Segura doing in this? How are you gonna put an extended cameo from a comedian into your otherwise straight horror movie? What is this??" Five minutes later "BABE THAT PRIEST SHOULD HAVE BEEN JOE LO TRULGIO AND STILL WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE." This movie doesn't deserve my words. Regretwatch.

Such a massively stupid concept that it is impossible for even the movie itself to take seriously. Because of that, it actually is an enjoyable ride. The characters are the worst, and nothing is scary, but the comedic relief makes this into a so-dumb-it’s-good fun ride.

It has a cool central premise about demons and curses with a modern twist. However there is so many sudden shifts in tone from horror to very comedic bits that don't work. It reminded me of a want to be Jordan Peele movie without any of the substance Peele brings to the table. While it is not a complete waste of time I found myself laughing way more than I should have been.

I avoided this one for awhile and decided to watch it on a whim today. A lot of it doesn't make sense, but it's generally entertaining. I had zero expectations so temper yours accordingly, but it's decent if you can overlook some silly goofs. Tom Segura was great and it was a bonus to see him here as a fan of YMH. Fun little cameo at the end as well. 6.2

Wow! Don't agree with critics on this one. I loved it. Reminded me of Final Destination and Happy Death Day. Intense horror mixed with some lighter moments.

This movie has some genuinely creepy moments, that are almost immediately ruined by a mandatory jump scare. So half points I guess. The idea is interesting enough for a one time watch if you turn your brain off. A decent companion piece for the Final Destination films.

It's not bad but it's certainly not great either. It's a decent watch if you need to get your horror fill.

One somewhat interesting twist at the end is the only good thing about this cliched, boring, ridiculous collection of predictable jump scares.

Geri sayım, cep telefonu, uygulama, ölüm tarihi. Telefona yüklenen bir uygulama ölüm tarihini vermektedir. SPOILER maalesef o an gelince de ölüm gerçekleşiyor. İşin içinde kötü ruhlar vs. var.

Happy Death Day, but with absolutely no charisma. I really like the cool priest, though.

okeish for a horror movie (no high bar there). the only issue is that it ended up being 'ezwatching' as if there were no intention to present it as smth serious .

So, I consider movies like The Ring, or Final Destination to be flawed horror films, but they are still guilty pleasures just because I like the concept, and I DO like the concept in Countdown, but it's been handled better in other horror films. That being said, it's not as bad as others have said it is. I did enjoy myself while watching it.

Though it has some moments of creativity & a couple interesting ideas, it's so bogged down by its poor script- which does those ideas zero justice- that it becomes just like any other standard mainstream horror. The performances are fine, with Lail, Segura & Final Destination alum PJ Byrne all doing a fine job. However, the effects are messy & the plot is contrived, never trying to make any real sense of the premise. It's not among the worst of the genre, but it's not much good either.

Full of jump scare, with each one getting lazier than the last. The characters are all poorly written and the myth & rules are not well conceived.
