How could this have slipped from MST3K's grasp? Just an awful, terrible, cheesy Star Wars knock-off. I'll need to get real wasted before I can watch it again.

Did I watch the same movie as y'all? This was fucking fantastic. Rides the line between grindhouse and arthouse, like many Italian genre films. Very nice sets and costumes. Camerawork eccentric but expressive. Trippy effects and editing. Anti-AI humanist theme well-conveyed and relatable if perhaps reactionary, explored from multiple angles even, the camp aspect making its preachiness and myopia appropriate. Please watch this; "so bad it's good" just scratches the surface of its merit.

The worst captain in the galaxy is begrudgingly entrusted with the safety of Earth and it goes just about as well as that time you got into a van with a guy who said there was candy in the back. GUARANTEED 100% ACCURATE PLOT SOMMELIER: When the captain discovers something, he sends his crew to investigate, only to learn that something has happened and that they'll have to do something to make sure it doesn't happen again. And there was a giant robot.

Stupid. Some decent costumes though.

Cheap Italian-made _Star Wars_ ripoff. Directed with none of the style that makes similar films like _Battle of the Worlds_ or _Planet of the Vampires_ so enjoyable, this pancake-flat concoction never lives up to the excitement of its title.

This baffling mix of sci-fi cliches & 70s cheese is pretty entertaining if watched on drugs. Everything in this film feels like an outtake. The effects & acting in particular are as ridiculous as some of the obviously fake cast names (Max Bonus & Charles Really among others). The story is pretty ambitious and epitomizes the classic sci-fi dynamic between interestingly crazy ideas and laughably terrible production.
