not all that interesting, and just a little bit awkward, but this Blender open source film project is far more sophisticated in every conceivable manner when compared to their previous efforts. the intention is to develop this 12-minute fragment into a feature film if there is enough funding - which there probably won't be - and i'd be interesting in seeing the final result if so.
