Cosmic Sin

It's 2021 and Bruce Willis is still asleep. Everybody else is just kind of there and I can't figure out if we as movie fans should like Grillo or not. Besides that, this is just a bog standard sci-fi flick but it's not smart enough to say whatever it is it's trying to say, nor is the plot interesting enough to stay invested in. Characters, where are they? Action, I mean, people shoot guns anyway. Never getting a match on Tinder is more fun than this.

If you’re trawling the bottom of the barrel budget actioners, you could do a lot worse than this – still not a great recommendation; these sort of films make you respect the 80s cycle of “Budget Bronson” actioners all the more, for their comparative style and efficiency. A long way round to saying there’s little to discuss here; Willis is about as good as you could hope to find him, and the rest of the cast are adequate, struggling as they do with a director who doesn’t know how to stage action.

The director and writer here is a talentless grifter who somehow managed to get enough dirt on Bruce Willis to force him to churn out literally half a dozen films starring his brain damaged self within a 2-year timespan. Disgusting person, completely unwatchable film.

Nope.

Mass Effect LARPERs and Stargate LARPERs came together to make a movie that was neither and seemed to have less than a 30th of a tv episode budget. Stupidity is rampant. A guy spends half the movie floating in space only to explode at the end. Bruce Willis left me baffled however, as they not only got him to wear the clunky suit, they also had him say more lines than he probably said on screen in the last 5 years altogether.
