Really great. Jack's interview is simply phenomenal, we never see him open up like that. and Bruce Dern gets interviewed while getting a haircut. and his hair is weird.

Impassioned tribute (and borderline obsequious love-letter) to Corman and the "Indie film" spirit, notable more for the impressive array of talking heads describing their personal connections to Corman's filmography rather than providing any substantive insight into the man (which might have pushed this into "great" territory), but pretty good as it is, with perhaps the best (and to my memory only) extensive interview with Nicholson, where the great man even breaks down at one point!

My hero and the most important person in all of cinema. In lack of better words; a motherfuckin' drengerøv.

Incredibly entertaining, but I would have liked to see the film go more in-depth on the production on some of the films.

This is a really good documentary about him. Most of his really well known collaborators appear on camera to yak about him ... Jack Nicholson, Martin Scorsese and Peter Bogdanovich have a lot to say, and others like Jonathan Demme, Ron Howard and Robert De Niro pop up. It has the good sense to focus deeply on the 1950's-1970's and then kind of slope off on his less than stellar years.

A good documentary about a fascinating prolonged success story with a plethora of A-listers heaping praise.

Corman's World is merely adequate. Those are the 5 most depressing words I've ever written in a review. This was the boring report that earned a C. Yes, it hits all the marks. It goes from his early years with American International, through the exploitation films, to today. It explores integration (The Intruder) and touches on Bergman & Kurosawa. It even shows his current projects with the SyFy channel. Yet there is no soul or flair or imagination. It was cold, which Corman's films never are

Entertaining portrait of--however you respond to his work--the man who made the single greatest impact on the shape of American movies today than anyone. Well worth seeing.

A very well made, entertaining and, at times, even thought provoking documentary about the the life and times of a true Hollywood legend.

The huge array of stars almost make it feel more like an extended lifetime achievement award presentation, but I suppose that's how one would do it. I also wouldn't have minded a mention of Russ Meyer or Troma just to paint a broader picture of exploitation. But heck, it was fun, very funny, and made me want to watch a bunch of Corman films
