Cops and Robbers

Difficult to score - Rated 84 with first half = 70, the second 89. A "too good to let be forgotten" movie. When you watch the first half this seems tame, a standard HK police drama of the time and, candidly, only OK. Move to the second half & whoa so that's why this is regarded as a foundation work for the great run of HK actioners in the mid to late 80's - well acted, realistic, tense, epic foot chase & a very well played villain. Patience WILL be repaid, especially a must for HK action fans.
