Cops and Robbers

Gorman and Bologna are both charismatic and very unique screen presences. And the script, from acclaimed pulp fiction writer Donald Westlake, is roomy enough to allow the story to come through without being restrictive to the actors. The other great thing about this film is that it gives a wonderful view of New York in the 70's. I found the ending somewhat unsatisfying, and the theme song is, frankly, embarrassingly corny. Otherwise, this is a solid and unique crime film well worth seeing.

Not terribly exciting given the premise. Kind of slow-paced but a neat look at NYC at the time. Very corny song, as another pointed out. Fav scene: Central Park chase.
