Godard and Miéville use two journalist making a documentary about the use of photograph in a (communist) newspaper as the premise for a typical Godardian meta-essay about the meaning of pictures and words. I also have to gives kudos to Godard for criticizing how a communist paper only uses the photo when it can promote their own agenda. Many of the shots are very static, making this audiovisual less compelling than the previous Numéro deux.

ultimately a movie about words, which can't sound too interesting. If you have the energy and an interest in what Godard's trying to do, it can indeed be a little "fun" but yes, of course this is dry.
