Color Me True

This is creative, funny, romantic and ultimately tragic. It does get very heavy-handed from time to time but it is expected in a film like this. They manage to strike a nice balance and the performances carry it through. It probably won't be for everyone, it is unashamedly a romantic drama to the nth degree, but I was engaged from the getgo and really makes you appreciate the things you may take for granted with a loved one. Bring tissues!

95 where "95" is-you just know how things will go but the ride is so darn pleasant that you willingly travel along. Old school romance with no sex at all (there is a reason). Cannot say more than "this is pretty much perfect" for the romance genre. Slapstick funny at the start, things turn darker in the last half. For the closing scenes, elevating but "bring tissues". Both leads good. Must watch for lovers of older movies & romances...if you like both, "heaven". Ippei's review here says it well.

Disappointing romantic Dramedy that that completely failed to engage me. This is a fairytale film and in the beginning it captures that but soon after it turns into a melodrama starring two leads with zero chemistry. In fact the whole film seems to lack an emotional pinch until the very end but by then it was too little too late. Shame really because the idea had potential.
