First off, let me just say that the print I saw was pretty bad, so that probable figures into some of that low score. On the other hand, Cody of the Pony Express (1950) was a very generic serial that only provided what a regular one-hour low budget western would, except stretching it out four hours. The only interesting aspect was using Dickie Moore as a youthful "Wild" Bill Cody. An odd choice as Dickie wasn't exactly known for westerns, and I can't say he stood out in the part either.
