Code of Honor

Mahlon Hamilton is not an actor that's known today, but he was a leading man in dramatic silents. This was his only lead role during the sound era. Wasn't bad in this role, but as a stage actor he was probable too traditional in his acting style to pull off being a cowboy hero. And with JP McGowan handing the directing, that sort of guaranteed that it wasn't going to be anything spectacular. It's a very traditional western with a hero that wasn't totally believable in that kind of environment.
